For Advisor Seekers
  1. How to use Text Chat? See Live Demo
    To start text chat is very easy.

    Step 1: Click on Chat Now button


    Step 2: Now you should see a Pre-Chat screen, fill in the form and click Start Text Chat button


    Step 3: Start chat


    Step 4: When chat is completed, press exit and you will see the feedback screen. Fill in the feedback form accordingly.  You should also see your account balance on the top of the screen.
  2. How to use AV Chat
    It is the same as text chat, except you click the Start AV Chat Now button instead.  A screen will pop up to notify you that you are waiting for the advisor to respond.  Once your advisor picks up your request, a video chat screen will appear as follows, click Accept to start video chat.



    You can also Zoom in the advisor's video, by first minimizing the "My Webcam" session, and click on the "magnifying glass" icon.



  3. How to send a private message?
    In the offline advisor listing, or the all advisors listing, click on the Message button.  A message screen pop-up.  Just fill in the form with your message request, the advisor will respond to your question shortly.


  4. How to send and receive files to an advisor?
    During text chat session, you can send and receive files by email.  To email the advisor, click on the "Email Me" link below the photo. 

    During AV chat session, you can send and receive files by clicking on Send File:



  5. How to pay?
    We use Paypal as our payment vendor.  To pay for each session, you need to "deposit" money into your Handywise account.  You "deposit" money into your account by doing the following:

    Step 1: Click the Add Funds button on the left side of the screen


    Step 2: Enter the amount you want to add to your account


    Step 3: You will be directed to the secured PayPal to proceed with your payment.  Login in to PayPal or click "continue" to pay.


    Step 4: Click Pay button to proceed with payment


    Step 5: If payment successful, you should see the following screen which confirm the success of your payment.

    Step 6: You will be redirected back to the Handywise website, and ready to use your funds on services
For Advisors
  1. How to start providing service?
    If you have not already applied and approved to become our professional advisor, you won't be able to provide any service. It is free to apply.  Click here to apply.

    To start providing service, you can install and run the software we provided. You can also go to www.handywise.com, and click on "Advisor Login" link

    You must be connected to the internet to start service. Use your login provided in your email.


    To start service from the internet (without software):
    Login through Advisor Login screen.  Once you login, you should see a button called "Monitor" on the top menu bar.  Click on it to start service.


    To start service using software:
    If you do not already have the software, you can login to the advisor area and download the software. Double click the download link, and run the installation program:

  2. How to receive text and AV chat request?
    When you receive a request, you should see an alert on your list like this:


    In the T/V column, "T" means it is a text chat request, "V" means it is an AV chat request. To receive request, you should click the Check mark to start chat service.  A text chat screen or an AV chat screen will pop up accordingly. 

    In the above example, it is an AV chat request.  Follow the instruction on the screen, and click on the chat link to start video chat with your client.  You should see the following screen, press accept to allow camera and microphone:





  3. How to respond to a private message?
    The private message will be directed to the email you specified in your profile.  Simply response using your email.  

  4. How do I get pay?
    In the advisor area, you can see your account transaction details and balance by clicking on "Account Detail"


    In the account transaction detail screen, fill in the amount you would like to be take from your account and click the request payment button to request payment.  Request payment amount must be less than or equal to your latest account balance.  


    Our representative will send you the payment through Paypal.  To ensure the best security on all of our payment transactions, we will only send you funds through Paypal send money function.  If you do not already have a Paypal account, Paypal will provide a simple step-by-step procedure to assist you to create an account.  After you create your Paypal account, the funds will be in your Paypal account to transfer to your checking account immediately.
